ARLINGTON, Texas – Powered by a career-high 19 points from Jhileiya Dunlap, Troy downed UT Arlington, 59-48, to extend its win streak to eight games Saturday at the College Park Center.
The Trojans (12-5, 3-0 Sun Belt) have continued to find a way to win shorthanded. With just nine available players today, Troy has won three straight games without the full squad.
Coming into the matchup, Troy and UT Arlington (8-4, 2-1) were the only undefeated teams in league action of those who have played.
Dunlap's 19 points and career-high 15 rebounds led the Trojans and earned her her first career double-double.
For the Mavericks, Terryn Milton paced the way with 13 points and 10 rebounds, UTA's only double-double of the night.

However, the Trojans refused to back down and put up a dog fight in the second quarter. A 6-2 stretch put Troy within striking distance, 20-16, with 7:21 to go. Walton again utilized a jumper at the 2:55 mark to bring Troy within two before Jasmine Robinson gave Troy its first lead of the game with 46 seconds to play.
