Men’s Tennis Travels to Alabama State

TROY, Ala. – Winners of three straight, the Troy men's tennis team hits the road Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at Alabama State. First serve from the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center is set for 1 p.m.
Troy (4-2) won both ends of a doubleheader against AUM and its home opener against West Alabama for its current three-match winning streak. Carles Anton comes into the week 5-1 overall in singles in the spring and 4-0 in doubles; he was named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week last week.
Troy is now 25-9 on the year in singles play, good for a 73.5 winning percentage through the opening six matches and are 12-4 on courts one through three.
The Trojans return home on Friday for a matchup with Alabama A&M beginning at 2 p.m. at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
