TROY, Ala. – Sixteen members of the Troy Track & Field program were named to All-Sun Belt teams, including five first-team selections, the league office announced Wednesday. Nine members of the men's team garnered league honors while seven Trojan women were recognized.

Matthew Likely (200m), Titus Sizemore (high jump), Michael Alvernaz (hammer throw), Maja Kuessner (high jump) and Gemma Finch (800m) were all named to the All-Sun Belt First Team after winning gold in their respective events at last week's Sun Belt Championships.

On the women's side, Gracie Booher (10,000m) Lauren Locke (3000m steeplechase) and Edita Sklenska (800m) each notched second-place individual finishes to garner second team honors, while the women's 4x400 relay – comprised of Sklenska, Finch, Maya Kelly and Kasia Cooper – finished with a silver medal to add Kelly and Cooper to the mix.

The men of Troy found success in the relays with silver-medal efforts in both the 4x100 and 4x400 to place five athletes on the second team. Bruno Boysen, Quinest Bishop, Jaleel Gilbert, Alex Robinson and Jordan McCleskey each were selected to the second team.

Cole Stewart was the lone Trojan named to the third team with a bronze medal in the javelin.

Selections to the All-Sun Belt teams are based off of finish at the conference championship meets.
