Women's Basketball Ranked 21st in Final Mid-Major Top 25 Poll

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball, the 2020-21 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions, ranked 21st in the final CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll of the 2020-21 season.
This is the second-consecutive season, and just second time in program history, that Troy has been ranked in the final top 25 poll. The Trojans ranked 11th in the preseason poll and were ranked for six weeks during the season but were receiving votes every week that the poll was released.

Troy is coming off its third Sun Belt Tournament Championship, fourth overall Sun Belt Title, and its third NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Chanda Rigby. Troy made national headlines in the NCAA Tournament against No. 2 seed Texas A&M when they erased a 16-point deficit to lead the Aggies late in the fourth quarter before narrowly falling to the Aggies by just four points. Troy's 80-points scored was the third-most points scored by a 15 seed in NCAA tournament history.
