EATONTON, Ga. – Brent Hamm fired a 2-under 70 to lead Troy in Saturday's second round of the Linger Longer Invitational at the Great Waters Golf Course. The Trojans shot 15-over on the day and are in 15^th place overall heading into Sunday's final round.

Hamm shaved seven shots off his opening round card with his 2-under on Saturday and he climbed 28 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 36^th place. After opening his round with a bogey, Hamm got back to even with a birdie on the par-4 13^th to make the turn with a clean card. After four pars to open his run on the back of the course, Hamm birdied No. 5 and No. 9.

Will McFadden, Troy's clubhouse leader, is tied for 16^th place after shooting 2-over on Saturday. His card featured four birdies and three bogeys; he was 1-under par before ending the day with a tough triple-bogey on the par-4 ninth.

Charlotte jumped No. 40 Georgia Tech for the top spot on the team leaderboard and will carry a 5-shot advantage over the Yellow Jackets into the final round while Louisiana Tech is 11 shots back in third place.

Nicklas Borrmann is tied for 36^th place at 3-over for the weekend following a 5-over 77 in the second round after he carded a trio of birdies. Ryan Morrison carded an eagle on the par-5 second and shot 6-over for the day to sit tied for 78^th place while Reagan Harrell is in 84^th position.

Troy, Georgia State and Augusta will be paired in threesomes for Sunday's second round; the first group is scheduled to go from the 10^th tee box at 8:56 a.m. (CT).
