Men's Golf Heads to Linger Longer

The Troy men's golf team returns to action this weekend for the Linger Longer Invitational hosted by Kennesaw State and Mercer at the Great Waters Golf Course in Eatonton, Georgia.
Brent Hamm leads the Trojans with a 73.14 stroke average on the season and has played 12-of-14 rounds this season within three strokes of par. He has been Troy's top finisher in the Trojans' last two team events – Bash at the Boro and Seminole Intercollegiate – and leads the Trojans with four rounds under par.
Head coach Bart Barnes will also turn to Will McFadden who ranks second on the squad with a 75.43 average on the season and one round under par and Ryan Morrison who is close behind McFadden with a 76.86 average on the year. Reagan Harrell will make his first appearance of the spring for the Trojans after posting a 76.14 average in the fall over three events and Nicklas Borrmann (77.87) will make his third appearance of the year.
T-Time
Teams will play split parings for the three-day event with half the field opening on No. 1 while the rest of the field opens on No. 10. Troy along with Louisiana Tech and Toledo will be in the first group on the 10th tee box beginning at 7:35 a.m. (CT).
