MOBILE, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's cross country squads finished the Sun Belt Championships placing eighth and seventh, respectively, Friday at the Old Brookley Golf Course.

Cadi Rowe paced the Trojans with a 26^th-place finish in the 5k trek with a time of 18:51.6. Tanner Guest and Teanna Cason rounded out Troy's top three-finishes, placing 29^th and 34^th respectively.

The women tallied 179 points, good for a seventh-place finish.

On the men's side, Mason Bennett led the way with a 39^th-place finish in the 8k race with a time of 26:50.9 while James Brake finished just a spot behind Bennett in 26:55.4. Blake Vaughn rounded out the Trojans' top-three finishes with a 42^nd-place finish in 27:13.7.

The men earned 234 points en route to an eighth-place finish.

The Trojans will return to action of Friday, November 12^th in the NCAA South Region Meet held in Florence, Ala.
