Irving Morales Named to Atlantic Sun All-Decade Team

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's tennis standout Irving Morales has been named to the Atlantic Sun All-Decade Team, the conference announced Monday.

Morales, one of the best in Troy history, competed for the Trojans from 2004-07. As a member of the A-Sun during the 2004 and 2005 seasons Morales won back-to-back A-Sun Player of the Year Awards while also being named the conferences freshman of the year in 2004. Morales was also named a First Team All-Conference member both seasons and an All-Freshman performer in 2004.

To be named to the All-Decade Team an individual must have competed for at least two years in the decade as an ASUN student-athlete. Individuals that obtained one of the following criteria were named to the team; three First Team All-Conference selections (Singles), four All-Conference selections (Singles) or multiple Player of the Year honors. Individuals that obtained at least two of the following criteria were also named to the team; Player/Freshman of the Year or three All-Conference selections (Singles).
