Men's Tennis Signs Three for 2020-2021 Season

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's tennis head coach Rolando Vargas announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. All three student-athletes are set to join the Trojans for the 2020-21 season.

Joining the Trojans in the fall will be three standout student-athletes that include Joaquin Bianchi, Francisco Erramuspe and Nicolas Rodriguez. The trio joins a squad that posted an 11-4 record in the shortened dual season that included a season-high six match winning streak to close out the year and a perfect 5-0 record at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.

"The addition of Joaquin, Francisco, & Nicolas will give us a boost, head coach Rolando Vargas said. "What is most important about these guys is that they have the right character that I am looking for. They are great students that are coachable and willing to learn. They are proud to be part of the Trojan family and I am proud that they are joining us. I am looking forward to maximizing their full potential."

• Reached doubles ranking of No. 1,700 in the world and No. 2,000 in singles play
• Redshirted at East Tennessee State during the 2019-20 season and will be a freshman at Troy
