Women's Basketball Jumps to 14th in Latest Mid-Major Top 25

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball jumped two spots to No. 14 in this week's College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, announced by the organization Tuesday evening.
This marks the sixth straight week Troy has been ranked in the mid-major top 25, and just its first March ranking since the 2016 season. Troy's six straight weeks being ranked in the mid-major poll is its longest streak since 2016. Troy is currently on a four-game winning streak after defeating South Alabama last weekend.

Current Streak: Ranked six weeks
Last Season Long Streak: Three weeks
Program High Ranking: Eighth back on Dec. 6, 2016
Longest Program Streak: 2016, 16 straight weeks from the Preseason (17th) to week 14 (25th)
For the fourth-consecutive week Troy has received votes in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll and is currently receiving the 30th most votes in the country.
Troy is on the road for its final two regualr season games. The Trojans will take on Little Rock Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. before traveling to Arkansas State for a 4 p.m. tip-off on Saturday. If Troy wins both games over the weekend they will win their first-ever Sun Belt regular season championship and the second in program history.
