TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball will try and make history Thursday night in Little Rock, Ark. The Trojans will not only be playing for their first-ever win at Little Rock, but more importantly be going for win No. 24 on the year and setting a new single-season record for wins in a season. Â
Troy Trojans (23-4, 14-2 SBC)
PPG: 80.2 | REB: 55.3 | FG%: .378 | 3FG%: .275 | FT%: .674
The Trojans enter Thursday with 23 wins on the season and a chance to break the single-season wins record with their 24th of the season. Troy's current wins record of 23 was set back during the 1996-97 season when the Trojans were in their final year in the Mid-Continent (now The Summit League). That same year Troy won its only regular season conference championship and went on to win its first tournament championship and make its NCAA Tournament debut. The weekend as a whole is a big one for Troy. With two games left in the regular season, at Little Rock and at Arkansas State, the Trojans can win their first-ever Sun Belt regular season title with a 16-2 Sun Belt record. Troy's 16-2 conference record would be the best record in conference since Little Rock went 17-1 during the 2017-18 season.
Â

There three conference home losses are there most since the 2012-13 season when they went 7-3 at home.
