Men's Tennis Wraps Up Day One of the UTC Fall Classic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Troy men's tennis concluded its first day of competition at the UTC Steve Baras Fall Classic on Friday. The Trojans picked up five total victories on the day, highlighted by a pair of wins from first-year Trojans.

Freshman Francisco Erramuspe and Nicolas Rodriguez highlighted singles play for Troy on Friday as the duo each picked up straight set victories over Chattanooga. Friday's victories were their second of the season, with both wins coming against Chattanooga in consecutive tournaments. Junior Antonia Slema also notched a straight sets win in singles play for his second win of the fall season.

In doubles action Troy earned two wins on the day. Senior Amer Bedwan and junior Christopher Tasker teamed up for their first win as a pair this fall. Andy Romero and Antonio Selma also picked up their first win as a duo this season as they battled for a close 7-6 victory on Friday.
