TROY, Ala. – Troy women's tennis fell to SEC foe Mississippi State, 7-0, Friday in Birmingham at the Samford Tennis Center, where the Trojans saw a balanced effort from both the singles and doubles side.

Doubles
• In #1 doubles, Chunxi Guo and Anastasiia Khokhlova faced off against the 43^rdranked doubles pair in the country, Magda Adaloglue and Tamara Racine, where the Bulldogs won 6-0

• In #2 doubles, Shevita Aulana and Matea Mihaljevic were up against the number 45 doubles pair in the country, Emma Antonaki and Alexandra Mikhailuk, but play was suspended at 5-4 due to Mississippi State clinching the doubles point for the match in #3 doubles.

• In #3 doubles, Tijana Svitlica and Anastasiia Khrustaleva played Sara Lizariturry and Meredith Roberts, where the Bulldogs won the match 6-3 and clinched the doubles point with the win.

Singles
• In #1 singles, Matea Mihaljevic faced off against Emma Antonaki, the 84^thranked player in the nation, which saw Antonaki taking the match 6-3, 6-3.

• In #2 singles, Anastasiia Khokhlova went up against Magda Adaloglue in a contested three-set match, which saw Adaloglue coming away with the win 6-1, 7-6(5), 7-5 and giving the Bulldogs the point that clinched the match.

• In #3 singles, Chunxi Guo paired up to face Alexandra Mikhailuk, where Mikhailuk won the match 6-4,6-2.

• In #4 singles, Shevita Aulana faced Valeria Nikolaev and Nikolaev won the match 6-3, 6-2.

• In #5 singles, Tijana Svitlica went up against Marta Falceto and fell 6-1, 6-1
