Troy to Host Military Appreciation Day at The Vet on Sept. 28

TROY, Ala. – Troy Football's annual Military Appreciation Day at The Vet is set for Sept. 28 when the Trojans play host to Arkansas State. Fans can do their part to help area military and their families attend the game with the purchase of Community Hero Tickets; Troy Athletics will match each ticket purchased by fans.

Single-game Community Hero Tickets are available for just $8 each, and each ticket purchased will be directly donated by Troy Athletics to active, retired and reserve members of the military to attend the game. Tickets can be purchased in any quantity by calling 877-878-WINS (9467) or by using the promo code Military Appreciation at TroyTrojans.com/tickets.

The Community Hero Ticket program will allow all active, retired and reserve members of the military the ability to request up to four (4) general admission tickets to watch Troy take on Arkansas State.Â

Active duty and stationed military members can request tickets directly from their MWR offices, while all other members of the military may present their military ID at the Troy Ticket Office. It is encouraged that those requesting the Community Hero Tickets do so in advance.

All members of the military in attendance at the game will be invited to partake in the annual Walk of Heroes at halftime. Fans will be able to enjoy static displays honoring the military inside The Vet and outside the stadium near Tailgate Terrace.

Prior to kickoff, all fans are encouraged to be in the stadium early for a pregame flyover featuring four T-6 Texan's flown by the 41s tFlying Training Squadron based at Columbus Air Force Base.
