Daniel Glick Earns Academic All-America Honor

TROY, Ala. – Troy track and field senior Daniel Glick was named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Cross Country/Track & Field Third Team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday.Â

Glick joins 15 other athletes as a repeat selection from the 2018, 2017 and/or 2016 teams as Glick earned a spot on the Third Team last season after boasting a perfect 4.0 GPA.Â

This season, the Rome, Ga., native posted another perfect 4.0 grade point average as a communication arts & speech major.Â

During the track season, Glick ran the 1500m race at the Doc Anderson Invitational in 4:04.48 good for third place. At the Sun Belt Outdoor Conference Championships, Glick ran a season-best time of 9:27.62 in the 3000m steeplechase.Â
