Philadelphia, Pa. – On the final day of the 125th running of the Penn Relays, Troy track & field topped its school record that was set on day one and notched two top-three finishes at Franklin Field on Saturday.Â
Â
Overall, the Trojans set two school records and saw two athletes set their personal records in the three days of competition at the historic Penn Relays.

SCHOOL RECORD
The women's 4x400m relay team of seniors Niata Alexander and Tiarra Bailey and sophomores Madison Kennedy and Precious Ogba bested their previous school record set on day one (3:40.15) with a time of 3:40.09, placing them sixth in the College Women's 4x400 Championship of America Invitational section.Â

TOP THREE
Sophomores Jared Hayes and Jordan McCleskey and juniors Harrison Dudley and Matthew Likely teamed up to run the 4x400m relay in the collegiate championship section and finished third.Â
Â
Bailey, junior Gemma Finch, sophomore Madison Kennedy and freshman Tanner Guest completed the 4x800m relay championship in third place in 9:09.60.Â

PERSONAL RECORD
Hayes finished the 100m championship race in a personal record time of 10.49 seconds, good for sixth place.Â

DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS
Freshmen Tanner Guest and Maya Kelly, sophomore Macki Walsh and junior Gemma Finch teamed up to run the women's distance medley race and finished in a new school record time of 12:00.14. The teams' time is more than 23 seconds faster than previous school record set at the Florida Relays earlier this season.Â

In the 4x100m relay race, Alexander, Kelly and seniors Gabrielle Henderson and Sydney Henderson combined to finish in 45.55 seconds, placing them first in their heat and third in Troy's all-time record book.Â

DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS
The women's shuttle hurdle relay team of Garrett, senior Sydney Henderson, junior JaMeeka Middlebrooks and sophomore Michaela Thompson set the school record with a time of 56.82 seconds, securing third overall in the championship event.

Junior Austin Snyder set his personal record in the shot put, launching a distance of 16.27 meters which gave him 13th place.

Troy will have the upcoming weekend off in preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Jonesboro, Ark., from May 10-12.Â
