Troy Concludes Regular Season at Georgia State, Georgia Southern

TROY, Alabama – Troy women's tennis makes a Peach State swing over the weekend traveling to face Georgia State Saturday at 9 a.m. and Georgia Southern at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The Trojans (10-8, 4-3 SBC) have won two straight moving them into sole possession of sixth in the Sun Belt Conference standings. Troy brings to the court the top double pairing in the conference as Pei Ju Hsieh and Chunxi Guo enter the final week of the regular season with a 14-2 doubles record.

Georgia State enters the weekend 7-12 overall and 3-5 in Sun Belt play. The Panthers have dropped three straight matches and are led by Eva Chivu, who has posted an 8-2 mark on court one this season.

Georgia Southern is 11-11 on the year with a 3-5 record in conference play. The Eagles have lost three of their last four matches and are anchored by Luisa Hrda, who is 15-2 in single action.

The Sun Belt Women's Tennis Championship is set to begin on Thursday, April 18 in Peachtree City, Georgia.
