Troy Travels to Lafayette to Take on No. 10 Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – Troy looks to bounce back after the midweek loss to No. 8 LSU this weekend in its first road conference series against No. 10 Louisiana. The first game of the series will be 6 p.m. Friday Night at Lamson Park.

Troy enters the weekend 18-9 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Stephanie Snyder hit Troy's lone hit in the game versus LSU. Snyder is batting .246 with five doubles, a home run, and 11 RBIs. Katie Webb is leading the offensive efforts for Troy batting a .378 with five doubles, a triple, and 18 RBIs.

Bailey Taylor remains at first in the conference in RBIS with 26 for the third consecutive week. Taylor sits just being Webb batting .355 with five doubles and three home runs.

Leanna Johnson dominates time in the circle with 92.1 innings of work. Johnson is ranked sixth nationally in strikeouts with 113 and fifth in the nation in victories with 12. Annie Willis is Troy's other powerful force in the circle with a 2.05 ERA and 53 strikeouts over 58 innings of work.
