Troy, Ala. – Troy men's basketball wraps up its home regular-season slate when it welcomes UT Arlington to Trojan Arena on Senior Day on Saturday. Tip is set for 2 p.m. with the game broadcast live on ESPN+.Â

The Trojans (11-16, 4-11 Sun Belt) are coming off a 58-44 loss to Texas State on Thursday night. In the game, Senior Alex Hicks led Troy with 13 points and eight boards while senior BJ Miller filled the stat sheet with seven points, four rebounds, four steals and two assists.

On the season, Troy currently sits second in the Sun Belt Conference in blocks per game averaging 4.5 and is fourth in the conference shooting 45.6 percent (702-1540) from the field.

Hicks paces the team in points per game (12.5) on 52.4 percent (131-250) shooting and in rebounds per game (8.1) which is the fourth-most in conference. Hicks is pulling down 8.3 rebounds per game in conference play, fourth in conference.

Sophomore Javan Johnson also averages double figures with 10.4 points per game. Sophomore Darian Adams leads the team in assists per game averaging 3.5. In conference action, Adams is averaging 4.3 assists per game, sixth-most in conference.

UT Arlington cruised past South Alabama, 75-57 on Thursday in the Mitchell Center. The Mavericks improved to 14-15 on the season and 10-6 in conference to give them fourth place.

In the game, junior Brian Warren posted a game-high 18 points while junior Edric Dennis added 15 points, six rebounds, a pair of assists and a block. Junior Jabari Narcis rounded out the double-figure scoring for UTA with 11 points.

Warren leads the team averaging 15.1 points per game and 3.5 assists per game, ninth in SBC while Dennis follows right behind, dropping 14.0 a game. Junior Andres Ibarguen paces the Mavericks in rebounds per game (7.0), 10th in conference.

Saturday's matchup marks the 10th-ever meeting between the two teams. The Mavericks hold the series lead with a 6-3 record, winning four of the last five games. Troy dominated UTA in a 93-71 win in the last meeting in Trojan Arena on Jan. 14, 2017.
