Tickets for Hoover Classic Now on Sale

TROY, Ala. – Tickets are now available for Troy baseball's showdown with Tennessee in the 3rd Annual Hoover Classic at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on March 5 at 6 p.m., Troy Athletics announced Tuesday.

Ticket prices are $5 for general admission for adults and are available for purchase through the Hoover Met Ticket Office – kids 10 and under will be admitted for free. The gates will open at 5 p.m., and parking will be $5 (cash only). Fans wishing to buy tickets can contact the ticket office at (205) 739-7364 or click HERE.

In conjunction with the game, Troy Athletics will kick off its first Trojan Tour event of 2019 on the first base patio before the game. The event, which is free of charge but does require a ticket to the game, will feature a reception as head football coach Chip Lindsey and Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain will address the crowd. The Trojan Tour event will feature free food, soft drinks, a cas bar and the ability to take pictures with T-Roy. Fans in attendance will also have the chance to win great prizes courtesy of Troy Athletics and purchase football tickets.Â

"The staff in Hoover are exceptional and we appreciate the opportunity to play Tennessee at the Hoover Met," head coach Mark Smartt said. "Troy fans can enjoy college baseball while also having a chance to attend the first Trojan Tour event of 2019 before the game. It will be a great night for Troy."
About the Hoover Metropolitan Complex
The Hoover Metropolitan Complex is a world class, multi-sport and event complex located in Hoover, AL. The HMC includes the Hoover Met Stadium, the state-of-the-art Finley Center, RV Park, Baseball Complex and the multi-purpose Field and Tennis Complexes. The Hoover Met Stadium, which opened 30 years ago, has served as the home of the SEC Baseball Tournament since 1998. It is a natural grass facility with a seating capacity of 10,800, includes 12 private skyboxes and a large private banquet room with a patio overlooking the playing field. The Hoover Metropolitan Complex is owned by the City of Hoover.
