Notes: Women's Basketball back at home Wednesday vs AUM

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's basketball team is back at home for the first time since mid-November when they host Auburn University Montgomery on Wednesday inside Trojan Arena. Tip-off against the Warhawks is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Troy Trojans (4-2)
PPG: 84.0 | REB: 55.2 | FG%: .337 | 3FG%: .259 | FT%: .723
For the first time since Nov. 16 the Troy Trojans will get to play inside Trojan Arena after playing its last three contests in three different states. Troy is coming off a hard-fought victory against Bethune-Cookman where they used an impressive 23-12 run in the second quarter to grab the lead for good before locking down the Wildcats on offense in the second half. In the process of snapping a two the Trojans were in scoring by Amber Rivers who scored a season-high points. By leading the team in scoring Rivers became the sixth different Trojan in as many games to lead the program in scoring.
Auburn University at Montgomery (5-3)

Auburn University at Montgomery enters Wednesday with a 5-3 overall record and are currently on a one game winning streak after defeating Trevecca Nazarene, 58-53. AUM is lead offensively by Jordan Brewster who is averaging 10.4 points per game but it is Victoria Morales who does a little bit of everything for the Warhawks. Morales' name is all over the statistics as she leads the team, or ranks second, in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks and steals. In the first half of games this season AUM has been outscored by 30 points but in the second half of games they are outscoring their opponents by 47 points. The third quarter has been their best quarter this season, scoring 131, 28%, of their 464 total points for the year.
Trojan Storylines
• Kayla Robinson continues her senior season with 973 career points and is primed to join the 22 other Trojans who have reached the 1000-point milestone. The senior has averaged 10.0 points in her career and is currently the second leading scorer on the team at 12.3 points per game
• Amber Rivers is also on the verge of eclipsing 1000 career points. The senior has currently scored 900 points in her Troy career
• Troy opened the month of December up with a victory at Bethune-Cookman. The Dec. 1 victory improves Troy's record in the month to 4-1 since the 2018-19 season
• Troy's game against AUM on Dec. 4 will be one of just two home games in the month of December as the team will travel to Chattanooga and Las Vegas to close out the month
• In five of the six games that Troy has played so far this season, they have had five different starting lineups. The one constant through all six games has been junior guard Jasmine Robinson who has started every game this season and is currently on a 14-game starting streak
• The Trojans have put an emphasis on free throw shooting and are currently shooting 72 percent from the charity stripe, up six points from a season ago
