Need to Know – Gameday at The Vet; Homecoming Game

Purchase Tickets
TROY, Ala.– Troy returns to The Vet Saturday for its annual Homecoming contest as Georgia Southern comes to town for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff. Below is a full breakdown of all the happenings in and around the stadium before and during the game Saturday.
Fans can visit TroyTrojans.com/Gameday prior to each visit to campus to see the latest information on parking, traffic flow and tickets for each of Troy's home games.
OneTROY Ticket Promotion
Fans can purchase a ticket to the football game, the men's basketball game against UAB on Thursday and receive a voucher for any women's basketball game this season for just $16. CLICK HERE to receive this special deal.
Homecoming Parade
Join in the pageantry of Homecoming at Troy with the annual Homecoming Parade in downtown Troy beginning at 10 a.m. The parade will feature floats from Troy's student organizations along with appearances from the Sound of the South, Troy Cheerleaders, T-Roy and members of the Troy community.
Food Trucks
Several food trucks will be setup along University Avenue beginning at 11 a.m. with items available for purchase as fans enjoy the pregame festivities. Vendors for this will include Dickey's BBQ, J's Desserts, Patton's and Kona Ice.
Youth Cheer Clinic
The annual Troy Youth Cheer Clinic will take place at 11 a.m. at Riddle-Pace Field. Participants receive a t-shirt, pregame clinic, participation in Trojan Walk and pregame performance on the field with the Troy Cheerleaders. Registration is $25 per child and can be done in advance at TroyTrojans.com/cheerclinic. CLICK HERE for a special ticket promotion.
Tailgate Terrace
Tailgate Terrace is SOLD OUT for this game! Come join fellow Trojan fans in Tailgate Terrace before the game, and Troy Athletics will have several special groups in the area to create an amazing pregame atmosphere.
Dairy Queen Troy Kids Zone
The Dairy Queen Troy Kids Zone opens at 10:30 a.m. and is located in the outfield of Riddle-Pace Field. Children of all ages are invited to take part in the fun with free inflatables until 2 p.m.
Healthcare Appreciation Day, 4H Day, Ag Day and FAA Day
Troy Athletics will be celebrating these groups on Saturday and members can take advantage of special ticket promotions for the game. Click the links below to take advantage of the special offers.

Trojan Walk
Troy's traditional pre-game march into Veterans Memorial Stadium, Trojan Walk, will begin at the intersection of University Avenue and George Wallace Drive. The Trojans will walk through the brick portal into Tailgate Terrace before entering the stadium at Gate 1. Trojan Walk will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Student Guest Tickets
Troy students may continue to purchase $10 student guest tickets for this game. Students may visit the Troy Ticket Office or call (334) 670-3681 to take advantage of this offer to bring family and friends to the game. And thanks to Domino's Pizza and Coca-Cola, Troy students will be treated to free pizza and free Coca-Cola during the fourth quarter of the game!
Troy Sports Radio Network Pregame Show
Studio host Doug Amos is joined by "Voice of the Trojans" Barry McKnight, game analyst Jerry Miller and sideline reporter Junior Louissaint on location in front of Trojan Arena for the radio pregame show beginning at 12:30 p.m. to preview the game on the full Troy Sports Radio Network.

Traffic Information
George Wallace Drive will CLOSE two (2) hours prior to kickoff until one (1) hour after the completion of the game from International Blvd. (traffic light at Charles Henderson High School) to Johnny Long Drive.
- Fans with access to National Guard Armory Lot and North End Zone Lot will be granted access to those lots within the two-hour closure with the proper parking pass. ALL traffic to those lots MUST enter from the north end of George Wallace Drive – from Downtown/Elm Street not Highway 231.
