Women’s Golf Travels to Nashville for TSU Town & Country Invitational

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's golf team continues its fall season Monday and Tuesday with a trip to Nashville for the TSU Town & Country Invitational at the McCabe Golf Course. Teams will play 18 holes each day on the par-70 course.
Troy is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Palmetto Intercollegiate where sophomore Nicole Lorup walked away with the individual title after shooting a school record 9-under 207. Lorup enters this week's event with a -0.11 score vs. par for the year with a trio of her nine rounds played under par.
Elisabeth Preus has played five of her last six rounds within two shots of par and carries a 1.78 score vs. par with a pair of rounds under par into the TSU Town & Country. Troy has had a consistent effort throughout its lineup and that's evident by the play of its No. 3 and No. 4 spots with Anna Claire Little's 3.00 score vs. par and ShaeLee Scarberry's 3.56 score vs. par.
Head coach Randy Keck will look to Judith Castro in the No. 5 slot while Ainsley Cowart will see action as an individual for the Trojans.
T-Time
Teams will play together in fivesomes for Monday's opening round with the Trojans hitting the course at 9:40 a.m.
