Troy’s Annual Bench Out Breast Cancer Set for Tuesday

TROY, Ala. – Troy's annual Bench Out Breast Cancer presented by the Troy Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the football weight room inside the North End Zone Facility.

The event, now in its fifth year, raises thousands of dollars each year for breast cancer research. Spectators are asked to provide a minimum $1 donation to watch the event while Troy University students can participate for $5 and the general public can enter the competition for $10.

Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening and for the top male and female performer on the bench press. The giveaways are not limited to those participating in the bench press competition as spectators will be entered into raffles and there will also be a silent auction taking place.

Parking for the event is located in the Veterans Memorial Stadium press box parking lot and guests are asked to enter through the Northwest (press box side) entrance.

Fans can also make a donation in support of Bench Out Breast Cancer via Venmo to the account SAAC-TROYU.
