Troy Set for Pair of Weekend Matches

TROY, Alabama - Troy men's tennis will host Alabama A&M on Friday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. On the following day, the Trojans will meet Point University in the second dual match of the weekend. The Trojans have a winning record of 2-0 by winning matches against West Alabama and Auburn-Montgomery in the past two weeks.

Alabama A&M played only once in dual action against Auburn, which resulted in a 7-0 loss. Point University had a tough loss against Alabama State, 7-0. Pelayo Antuna, Manuel Bernard, and Jiaqi Duan are all looking forward to increasing their singles winning record to 3-0 this Friday.

First-year men's head coach Rolando Vargas will use this game as another opportunity to improve team chemistry and prepare the team for the future Sun Belt Conference play, which will start on March 23.
