Troy Men's Tennis Hosts AUM on Friday

Troy, Ala. – After the first win of the spring season, the Trojans will be back in action on Friday afternoon against Auburn University at Montgomery, where Rolando Vargas was a head coach from 2011 to 2017 and guided women's team to four NAIA Championships, won 6 consecutive conference titles with men's team and reached national finals. It will be the first match for AUM to open their season in an exhibition against the Trojans.

The Trojans started their season with a 5-2 win on Monday, and the next match against Auburn-Montgomery will be another step for successful preparation towards Sun Belt Conference games. Senior Jiaqi Duan and Sophomore Pelayo Antuna have perfect records after the first match as they both won their singles and doubles matches. Oskar Michalek came back to the roster with a confident win at No.1 spot, while falling short in doubles play with freshman Manuel Bernard.
