Janiah Sandifer Ready for Sophomore Season

Sophomore Janiah Sandifer battled through injuries during the second half of her freshman season playing in just two of the final seven games of the season. Despite being slowed last year, Sandifer is ready to bounce back and put her talents on full display in her sophomore campaign. A year ago, she scored in double figures four times including 16 points in just 16 minutes against Montevallo.
"It's been challenging, but I try to look at the bigger picture," Sandifer said. "Everyday I wake up, I try to be positive and set a new goal for myself."
