TROY, Ala. - Rising sophomore Jasmine Robinson smiled with pride while discussing her first year in a Troy uniform as she sat down for a one-on-one interview during the offseason.
Robinson averaged 8.3 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 31 games as a freshman last season. The Academy of Richmond County product said that she was pleased with the individual progress that she made on the court.
"It was fast, there was a lot of transitioning," she said. "The more I played, the more comfortable I got. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good season for my freshman year."
The 5-foot-6 guard also discussed butterflies before her first collegiate game, the most exciting moment from last season and how her brothers' athletic careers helped her become a better person.
