Troy Football Hits the Road for Dollar General Bowl Socials

TROY, Ala. – Troy football coaches and athletic administrators are hitting the road to bring the excitement of bowl season to Trojan fans across the Wiregrass with bowl socials for Troy's trip to the Dollar General Bowl on Dec. 22 in Mobile.
Troy will hold bowl socials in Dothan, Troy and Montgomery where fans can celebrate the Trojans' nine-win season and victory over Nebraska, take a picture with Troy's 2016 Dollar General Bowl trophy, hear insight about the upcoming Dollar General Bowl, purchase bowl tickets and socialize with Troy Athletics administrators and members of the coaching staff.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at each of the bowl socials and there is no charge for admission. These events are open to all fans and alumni in the areas to come out and enjoy the celebration.
Rated as the No. 7 bowl game by CBS Sports, the Dollar General Bowl pits two of the top Group of Five teams in the country. The Trojans can make history with a win as it would mark the third consecutive 10-win season for the first time in the history of the program. Buffalo comes in with 10 wins, a MAC division title and a victory over Rutgers out of the Big 10.
