WHITEOUT Game Set for Basketball Doubleheader vs. South Alabama

TROY, Ala. - The crowds this season within Trojan Arena have been tremendous and create a home-court advantage for the men's and women's basketball programs that is felt by players, coaches and staff. On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Trojans will WHITEOUT Trojan Arena for the huge doubleheader against in-state rival South Alabama.

The men's and women's basketball programs will both wear their white uniforms and all Trojan fans are asked to wear WHITE Troy gear to show their support of the teams. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a WHITEOUT game rally towel courtesy of Troy Bank and Trust while the first 500 Troy students will receive a WHITEOUT game t-shirt courtesy of Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The entire Troy cheerleading squad will be in attendance and the pep band will have a larger number to add even further to the environment that surrounds the WHITEOUT game. This is an event that no Trojan fan will want to miss.

Coming off a record-setting season on the gridiron, the Troy football team will be recognized during halftime of the men's basketball game. Troy football went 11-2, won the Sun Belt Conference championship, defeated No. 21 LSU in Death Valley, established a new school record for the highest attended season in program history and were crowned New Orleans Bowl champions. Trojan fans will be able to take photos with the Sun Belt Conference football championship trophy as well as the 2017 New Orleans Bowl championship trophy in the rotunda of Trojan Arena. Head coach Neal Brown will speak to the Trojan faithful during halftime as well.

As a "thank you" to all of our tremendous football season ticket holders, all football season ticket holders will be able to receive up to two (2) complimentary general admission tickets for the games. Football season ticket holders may request their complimentary tickets in advance by contacting Maria Moreno at mmoreno@troy.edu.

Trojan fans may purchase their tickets for the WHITEOUT game now by calling 877-878-WINS (9467), by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Tickets or by visiting the Troy Ticket Office located in Trojan Arena. Tickets for the games begin at $10 for general admission tickets and provide admission to both the men's and women's basketball games.

And prior to the WHITEOUT game, all fans are invited to partake in Troy Baseball and Softball Fan Day on Saturday, Feb. 3 beginning at 11 a.m. at Riddle-Pace Field. This event is free to the public and will include free hot dogs and soft drinks for all fans while supplies last.
