Women’s Tennis Completes Troy Invitational

TROY, Alabama- The Troy women's tennis team wrapped-up its three-day event on Monday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. Nancy Karaky, Maria Casas Blas and Pei Ju Hsieh were all named flight champions, while Casas Blas and doubles partner Matea Mihaljevic earned the doubles honor.
Seniors Sanae Ohta and Karaky started the morning off with a 7-5 doubles win on court one. Mihaljevic and Casas Blas also walked away with a win after their opponents withdrew due to injury.
In singles, Ohta started things off strong on court one with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Karaky followed with a 7-5, 6-3 win, while Mihaljevic capped things off for the Trojans with a 6-2, 7-5 decision on court four.
UP NEXT
The Trojans will host Georgia Southern on Sunday, January 28 for the first dual conference match of the season. First serve is slated for 11 a.m.
