TROY, Alabama- A threat of severe weather in Pensacola, Fla., canceled the UWF Tournament and allowed Troy to host its first hidden dual tournament of the season at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. The Trojans will welcome LA Tech, Murray State and Central Arkansas to the Troy Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will feature one round of doubles followed by two rounds of singles and the tournament will conclude on Sunday with two rounds of doubles and one round of singles.
Troy is led by a strong senior class and will feature matches from Efriliya Herlina, Sanae Ohta, and Nancy Karaky. Freshmen Maria Casas Blas and Matea Mihaljevic both had strong showings in the fall, while newcomer Pei Ju Hsieh will make her Trojan debut this weekend.
