Outdoor to Compete at Prestigious Penn Relays

Meet Information
TROY, Alabama – Troy outdoor track and field is set to compete at the 123rd annual Penn Relays Carnival in Philadelphia, Pa.
Started in 1895, the Penn Relays are the longest uninterrupted collegiate track meet in the country.

Troy will have a pair of representatives in the hammer throw on Thursday, with both Ali Taylor and Helga Volgyi competing in the event. The women's relays will also take place on Thursday, with both the 4x100-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay taking place.Â

Friday, Jovan Brown and Daquan Coleman will compete in the 400-meter hurdles to kick off the day for the Trojans followed by the men's 4x100-meter relay and the men's and women's sprint medley relays. Corina Wieser-Cox will be competing in the discus throw on Friday as well, joined by Zach Douglas who will compete in both the discus and shot put, while Myles Charley will compete in the long jump.Â

Saturday's competition will feature Mike Alvernaz in the men's hammer throw and Myles Charley in the triple jump, along with any of the Troy relay teams that qualify for the final.Â
