Masters, Moser Lead Troy on Day Two of Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tennessee – Luke Moser carded four birdies and shot a 1-under 70 to lead the Troy men's golf team in Saturday's second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. Troy shot a 5-over 289 and held its ninth-place position on the leaderboard.
Moser made the turn at 1-over after three bogeys on the front nine, but quickly responded with birdies on the first two holes after the turn to finish his day in the red and tied for 24th place overall at 1-under.
Moser is tied for second in the field on the par four holes as he enters Sunday's final round 3-under on the weekend on those holes, while Calum Masters is among the leaders with a 3-under tally on the par 5s; Masters' nine birdies are tied for sixth most in the field.
Calum Masters maintained his standing on the top of Troy's leaderboard as he shot even on the day with four birdies; he is tied for 12th overall at 3-under and just three shots off the individual lead.
Clayton Vannoy had a pair of birdies in his round that ended 1-over par and placed him in a tie for 45th place overall. Jared Bettcher shot 5-over on the day and is tied for 58th place, while Cam Norman is tied for 63rd overall after shooting 6-over on the day. Playing as an individual, Jake Tiffin shot 4-over on Saturday and is tied for 65th place.
Alabama will carry a one-shot lead over No. 6 Florida and a four-shot advantage over No. 3 Vanderbilt into Sunday's final round. Troy is five shots back of No. 43 Liberty; the Trojans will play the final round with Iowa and Liberty beginning at 8 a.m. on No. 1.
