No. 61 Men’s Golf Set for Mason Rudolph Championship

TROY, Alabama – The No. 61 Troy men's golf team looks to continue its hot play this weekend as the Trojans travel to Franklin, Tenn., for the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt. The site will be the same as Troy's appearance at the NCAA Regionals last season; however, teams will play the Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course for the Mason Rudolph – teams played the north course during the Regional.
The Trojans have played under par in seven of their last eight rounds, with the other round an even 288. Troy is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Linger Longer Invitational where it picked up victories over three top-45 teams and knocked off Alabama.
Four Trojans picked up individual victories over the nation's fifth-ranked player during the Linger Longer, led by Luke Moser's 10-place finish. Moser comes in fourth on the team with a +1.71 score vs. par average and five rounds under par.
Troy's top three individuals have combined for 29 rounds under par and 13 rounds in the 60s – all three are within a stroke of par on the season.
Clayton Vannoy leads the charge with a +0.50 score vs. par for the year and has played six of his last seven rounds either at par or under – he has played those eight rounds to a 70.14 average. Vannoy leads the Trojans with three top-10 finishes on the year.
Jared Bettcher is close behind with a +0.75 score vs. par and 10 rounds under par, while Cam Norman is tied with Vannoy with five rounds in the 60s to go with his +0.96 score vs. par. Calum Masters has a pair of rounds under par with a +3.04 score vs. par.
