Women’s Tennis Heads to Fort Myers, Fla. For A Pair of Matches

TROY, Alabama- Troy women's tennis is set to face Xavier on Thursday, March 9, and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, March 10, in Fort Myers, Fla. Both matches are set for 11 a.m.
The Trojans are coming off their first home matches of the season where they fell 4-3 to University of New Orleans, but defeated USC Upstate on Monday 5-2.
Junior Sanae Ohta looks to expand on her three match win streak. She is 6-10 on the season and 4-7 in dual match singles play. Efriliya Herlina is 7-9 overall and 6-5 in dual match play this season. The team's lone senior, Alicia Rodriguez is 4-1 in the spring season and looks to expand her win streak to four matches against Xavier and Florida Gulf Coast.
The Xavier Musketeers are 4-7 on the season, and they are coming off of a 6-1 loss to Florida Gulf Coast. With their win over the Musketeers, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are 5-3 on the year.
