Troy Women Face Arkansas State Thursday

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team wraps up the regular season with a pair of home games beginning with a tilt against Arkansas State on Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at Trojan Arena.

The Trojans (18-9, 11-5 Sun Belt) are coming off disappointing losses at UT Arlington (78-72) and Texas State (74-72) last week, but can still lock up a top four finish in the Sun Belt Conference standings with a win on Thursday coupled with a UL Lafayette loss. Troy can also end the season with a top four seed by winning each of its last two games.

Arkansas State (6-22, 4-12) has yet to win a road game this season entering Trojan Arena 0-13 on its opposition's floor. Troy defeated the Red Wolves 83-75 in Jonesboro on Jan. 21 and are 3-5 against ASU at home all-time.

Caitlyn Ramirez continues to pace the Trojans averaging 13.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game and has scored 12 or more points in 11 straight games. Ramirez posted her 12th career double-double with 19 points and 12 boards at Texas State on Saturday. Jada Ford leads Arkansas State offensively with 12.4 points per game and is one of three Red Wolves (Dominique Oliver, Akasha Westbrook) averaging in double figures.
