Mikki Lewis Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

TROY, Alabama – For the second consecutive year, Troy senior goalkeeper Mikki Lewis has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, the organization announced on Thursday.

Lewis finished her playing career as the school's all-time leader in wins, shutouts and goals against average. She also holds Troy single-season records in wins, shutouts, goals against average and minutes played by a goalkeeper. Lewis was a four-year starter, a two-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection and a four-time Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week honoree.

The St. Johns, Fla., native is set to graduate in December with a degree in psychology and currently holds a 3.88 GPA. Lewis was one of five Sun Belt Conference representatives, she now advances to the the CoSIDA Academic All-American Team ballot, which will be selected in December.
The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
