Soccer Hosts Little Rock Friday, Sunday Match Postponed

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team hosts Little Rock on Friday at the Troy Soccer Complex. Sunday's match against Georgia Southern has been postponed to Oct. 29 due to the possibility of severe weather related to Tropical Storm Nate.

Troy (4-8-2, 2-3 Sun Belt) is looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss in double overtime to South Alabama on Sunday. The Trojans took the lead in the 24^th minute, but saw it disappear two minute later. The Jaguars claimed the victory with five minute remaining in the second overtime period.

Little Rock (6-5-2, 1-1-2) is 3-1-2 in its last six games with a conference win over ULM mixed in. Led by Doro Greulich's five goals, Little Rock paces the Sun Belt with 23 goals on the year, however the team is middle of the pack with a 1.23 goals against average.

LAST MEETING
Little Rock scored goals in the 36^th and 50^th minute to clinch the victory. Troy managed just three shots in the contest.

Little Rock opened the scoring in the first half when Doro Greulich's shot from just outside the penalty area found the back of the net. Mikayla Uyokpeyi landed an insurance goal early in the second half when she received a pass at the top of the box and fired it home just inside the right right post.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Little Rock hits the road for just the second time in Sun Belt Conference action. The other Trojans came away with three points in league play with a 2-1 win over ULM and a 0-0 draw against Coastal Carolina. Troy had won six straight meetings in the series before a draw in 2015 and a loss in 2016 snapped the streak.
