Soccer Hosts Little Rock Friday, Sunday Match Postponed

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team hosts Little Rock on Friday at the Troy Soccer Complex. Sunday's match against Georgia Southern has been postponed to Oct. 29 due to the possibility of severe weather related to Tropical Storm Nate.

Troy (4-8-2, 2-3 Sun Belt) is looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss in double overtime to South Alabama on Sunday. The Trojans took the lead in the 24th minute, but saw it disappear two minute later. The Jaguars claimed the victory with five minute remaining in the second overtime period.

Little Rock (6-5-2, 1-1-2) is 3-1-2 in its last six games with a conference win over ULM mixed in. Led by Doro Greulich's five goals, Little Rock paces the Sun Belt with 23 goals on the year, however the team is middle of the pack with a 1.23 goals against average.

Mikayla Uyokpeyi landed an insurance goal early in the second half when she received a pass at the top of the box and fired it home just inside the right right post.
