The Trojans came out strong in the first set taking an early 4-0 lead, but Coastal slowly crawled its way back and eventually came out on top 25-22 to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Troy held on to the lead until the Chanticleers tied things up a 17-17. Both teams battled back and forth, but Coastal broke away for an early match lead.
