Women’s Tennis Travels to Roberta Alison Classic

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team will travel to the Roberta Alison Classic hosted by the University of Alabama October 27-29. Four players will represent the Trojans at the tournament.
Seniors Sane Ohta and Nancy Karaky will lead the squad alongside junior Hannah Seizer and freshman Matea Mihaljevic.
Newcomer Mihaljevic has gotten the most play this season out of the four participants and enters the event with a 6-3 overall record. In doubles, Ohta and Karaky have led the efforts with a 5-3 record so far this season.
Karaky and Ohta will start off the tournament in the first round of doubles on Friday at 9 a.m., against a pair from host team Alabama.
On the singles courts, Ohta will face Sydney VanAlphen of USC in the first round. Seizer is set to take on Alba Cortina of Alabama and Karaky will play Mega Bertrands from UAB. Mihaljevic will close out singles play on Friday against Dana Trus of Lewis.
