Trojans Wrap Up ITA Regionals

AUBURN, Alabama- The two remaining seniors in play at the ITA Regionals wrapped up competition on Sunday in Auburn, Ala.
On the singles courts, Nancy Karaky fell to SEC opponent Kennen Johnson of LSU 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals as Johnson earned her way to the title at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Efriliya Herlina also earned a spot in the semifinals but dropped her match against Rikeetha Pereira from Southern Miss, just short of the finals match.
Troy did pick up a win on Sunday on the doubles court as Sanae Ohta and Karaky defeated a pair from Louisiana Tech to earn a spot in the finals match. The Trojans came up short as reigning Sun Belt champions ULM defeated Troy 8-4 to take home the doubles consolation title.
