After one of the most successful careers in Troy women's basketball history, Ashley Beverly Kelley joins with TroyTrojans.com to thank Trojan Nation for joining her in an incredible four-year journey.
Trojan Nation,
To have come here in 2012 knowing absolutely no one, I can truly say that I've never met a stranger. From day one, everybody I have met has been so quick to give and never hesitated to help me. Throughout the years, I've met some amazing people and experienced something that not all student-athletes can testify to, "A Second Home"!
Being at Troy University has made me develop an intense work ethic, humble heart, and a spirit to give back to the community that has supported me. There aren't enough words that can describe how blessed I am to have such an incredible support system here, and because of you, it was always easy to go out every game and give my all.
I would like to thank the City of Troy, Troy University and you, Trojan Nation, for molding me into a woman. My faith in God has grown hungrier, my mind wiser, and my love stronger to help others see that everything works out for your good.
I am proud to say that I am a Trojan, and I will never forget the goals that I have accomplished. Thank you so much for your loving support, and I pray that the you all continue to support not only women's basketball, but all of Troy Athletics.
