Women’s Tennis Finish Under Armour Invitational

WACO, Texas, - The Troy women's tennis team completed their second tournament of the fall season on the road at the Under Armour Invitational hosted by Baylor University.

On Sunday, two matches were left to play for the Trojans. Doubles pair Nancy Karaky and Alicia Rodriguez advanced to the finals where they competed against Elizabeth Profit and Theresa Van Zyl from Baylor. Karaky and Rodriguez fell to the Bears, 8-3.

In the consolations draw, Karaky advanced once again to the finals match where she faced Damira Muminovic of Georgia State. After a hard fought match including a 20- game third set, Karaky fell to Muminovic 4-6, 6-1, 11-9.

UP NEXT

The Trojans will travel to Tuscaloosa to compete in the International Tennis Association (ITA) tournament Oct. 14- 17.
