Troy Falls in Third Day of ITA Championship

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team completed the third day of the ITA Southern Regional Championship hosted by the University of Alabama.

The lone match of the day for the Trojans came as Sanae Ohta was set to face Tiffany Mylonas of Louisiana Monroe. Ohta previously won her first two singles matches on Friday and Saturday and advanced to Sunday play. Mylonas defeated Ohta in a close match 6-1, 7-6 (6).

Other Trojans that competed in the tournament include Efriliya Herlina and Nancy Karaky, who completed match play on Saturday. The tournament continues on Monday as final matches will be played.
