Troy Soccer Ready for Kickoff to Rival Week

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team is set for "Kickoff to Rival Week" as it hosts conference rival South Alabama on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Troy Soccer Complex. Fans will have numerous opportunities to win prizes and promotional items, including an Apple TV.
Free T-Shirt – The first 250 fans will receive a free Troy T-shirt at the entrance.
Free Pizza – The first 200 Troy University students will receive free pizza courtesy of Troy SGA.
SAAC "Shoes That Fit"– It's the last day to donate your gently worn shoes. All proceeds go to the Christian Love Center.
Lip Sync Battle – At halftime three lucky contests will have their shot to win an Apple TV. Contestants will do their best lip sync impression for 30-45 seconds with their choice of song. Fans will decide the winner based on crowd noise. To enter, show us your best lip sync impression on Instagram and tag @TroyTrojansSoccer along with using the hashtag #TroySoccerLipSyncBattle. Fans will be selected on Thursday and will need to submit their song of choice by that day also. Additional prizes will be given to second and third place contestants.
The teams played a pair of one-goal games last season, including in the Sun Belt Conference championship game. This will be the first meeting between the two rivals in Troy since the 2013 season.
