Brittany Yoder Named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week

TROY, Alabama – Troy freshman Brittany Yoder was named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Yoder scored the game-winning goal against UT Martin on Friday night en route to a two-goal performance. The Alabaster, Ala., native had a .500 shot percentage and a 1.000 shot on goal percentage for the week. She averaged 1.3 shots per game along with 1.3 points per game.
"Brittany has been a consistent player for us through the first five games this season," Jason Hamilton said. "It was great to see her get on the board and be rewarded for all of her hard work."
Yoder is the first player of the week recipient for the Trojans this year. Troy had three offensive players of the week last season, along with three defensive players of the week.
