Alissa Jones Ranked in Nation’s Top 100

TROY, Alabama – Alissa Jones, a senior midfielder for the Troy soccer team, is ranked among the nation's Top 100 players according to TopDrawerSoccer.com, the country's leading amateur soccer website.
Jones was ranked No. 99 in last seasons TopDrawerSoccer.com Postseason Top 100, but has moved up 33 spots to land at No. 66 for the preseason top 100. The Mustang, Oklahoma, native is the lone Sun Belt player ranked in the top 100.
Last season, Jones scored 12 goals and recorded 10 assists, which is the first time in school history a player has recorded double-digit goals and assists in a season. She also set Troy single-season records in shots (95), points (34), game-winning goals (7) and single-game shots (11).
Jones was fifth in the NCAA and led the conference with seven game-winning goals last year, she was also ranked in the top 50 in the NCAA in assists per game (.45), points per game (1.55), total assists (10), total goals (12) and total points (34).
Already this season Jones has been named Preseason All-Sun Belt and picked up a goal against No. 8 Florida in a preseason exhibition match.
