Troy Women Add Jasmine Green to Staff

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team and head coach Chanda Rigby announced the hiring of Jasmine Green as the Trojans' director of basketball operations on Monday.

Green comes to Troy after spending the last two seasons as an assistant athletic administrator at Philander Smith College, an NAIA member in Little Rock. Prior to that, Green spent four seasons as a student manager with the women's basketball program at LSU.

"Jasmine is a dynamic young professional in our business and we are thrilled to add her to our staff," Rigby said. "She will help us in so many areas or our program, including handling team travel arrangements and managing recruiting databases. She brings a lot to Troy women's basketball."

During her time at Philander Smith, Green's role as assistant athletic administrator featured many duties in the day-to-day operations of the athletics department, including fundraising, facility management, scheduling and more.

During her four seasons at LSU, Green was part of a women's basketball program that made three NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing to at least the second round all three times, including one Sweet 16. While at LSU, Green also served as a women's basketball camp instructor.

"I am excited to be a member of the Trojan staff," Green said. "Coach Rigby and the staff have done a tremendous job over the years of cultivating a winning culture and transforming the program. I'm looking forward to working towards another winning season."

Green earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports administration from Louisiana State University in 2013. She then earned her Master's of Science in operations management from the University of Arkansas in 2015.
