Sun Belt Tournament Set to Open at Riddle-Pace Field; Family Night on Tuesday

TROY, Alabama – Troy University will host the Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament for the second time since joining the league in 2006. The second-seeded Trojans will take on No. 7 UT Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Troy's Riddle-Pace Field previously played host to the tournament in 2009.

The double-elimination tournament begins play on Wednesday, May 20 at 9:00 a.m. and will be conducted over five days culminating with the championship game on Sunday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. CT. All games will be available via webstream on SunBeltSports.org. All weekend games, including Sunday's championship, will be aired live on ESPN3.
Championship festivities get underway on Tuesday night with Championship Family Night, a celebration of this season's accomplishments both on and off the field for the student-athletes in attendance. There will be a home run derby, autograph session and much more for those in attendance.
